The 2022 Library GO Bond 2 passed during the 2022 State Legislative session and was signed by the governor. A total of 66.3% of New Mexico’s voters gave their support of New Mexico’s libraries on Election Day, November 8, 2022, with the passage of General Obligation Bond 2. Bond 2 includes a total of $19 million for publicly funded New Mexico academic, public, school, and tribal libraries. It will allocate $6 million to academic libraries, $6 million each to both public and school libraries and $1 million to tribal libraries for a total of $19 million.

Bond B includes a total of $19 million for publicly funded New Mexico academic, public, school and tribal libraries. If voters pass the ballot measure, it will allocate $6 million to academic, public and school libraries and $1 million to tribal libraries for a total of $19 million.

A total of 66.21% of New Mexico’s voters gave their support of New Mexico’s libraries on November 3rd, Election Day with the passage of General Obligation Bond B. Bond B includes a total of $9.5 million for publicly funded New Mexico academic, public, school and tribal libraries. It will allocate $3 million to academic libraries, $3 million each to both public and school libraries and $500 thousand to tribal libraries for a total of $9.5 million.
